August Summer Fun

I took the birthday girl out for an ice cream cone while we were at DQ to pick out her birthday cake.  I think she liked it.

Simon's octopus stuffy that we brought back from Alaska is definitely a hit!

Olivia has been playing soccer again this summer with the Rec League.  She is on Shaylee's team and has grown as a player so much!  She even scored her first ever goal in the last game of the season!  It has been so fun to go to the soccer fields and hang out with our buddies every Tuesday and Thursday.  We can't wait until next season!

Simon finished his 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the library!

Eric turned 41!    

Grandpa Steve has been seeing lots of wildlife on the game cameras since he started feeding the bears, including a few wolves!

We took  a trip to Wausau with Grandma to get a few things we needed before school started.  We always have such a good time on our Wausau trips!

We painted so many beautiful ocean themed rocks!

Miss Ruby turned 1!

And of course, because we've replaced every other appliance...our dishwasher decided to kick the bucket so we had to get a new one.

Grandma and Grandpa Camp

While Eric and I were in Alaska, my parents took the kids for the week.  They had so many adventures!!  Here are some of them!

They went to the Minnesota Zoo!

They went camping at Lake Wissota State Park.

They went to Crystal Cave.  

They visited Uncle Chris' farm, fed the calves, milked a cow, and made friends with the kitties.

Livi went to visit and ride Bindy.

They had a campfire with cousins at Grandpa and Grandma's new house!  We are so grateful for grandparents who love our kids and want to make these special memories with them!  While we certainly missed them, we knew they were in good hands and having a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Camp!
