These three ladies have a pretty special friendship. They decided to audition for The Little Mermaid play, which was put on by a traveling children's theater company. They learn the entire show in a week, and perform it on the weekend. The girls were all seahorses and they worked hard to learn all their songs and choreography in just a few rehearsals. Because Evie lives a bit out of town, she stayed overnight with us to save on a few trips back and forth for her parents. It was Livi's first sleepover and she was over the moon about it. They invited Shaylee also, and the three of them were so sweet and fun. They were actually asleep by 9:30, so I think they did pretty well! They certainly all had a great time!
We also spent the week making beautiful Under the Sea art projects for our post-show party. We made a mural on the deck railing and it turned out so cute!!
Their costumes were absolutely adorable and they did just an amazing job in their performance!! Shaylee and Olivia had a really cute duet at the end of one of their songs too. All the girls sparkled and were confident and had so much fun. We can't wait until next summer's production!
