July Summer Fun

We had some friends over for some games and ice cream sundaes.

Nolan started working at LMS as the cleaning crew.  He is making $6 an hour and doing jobs like wiping the woodwork, sweeping mopping, and cleaning the bathrooms.  He is hoping to earn some more money for Lorcana cards.

Lunch dates with my babies.

Nolan and Broden had a sleepover - Broden's first ever.  They had a great time playing games, staying up late, and watching Napoleon Dynamite.

Olivia got to celebrate Evie's birthday with a sleepover and trip to the Merrill Community Pool. The girls get along so well and had so much fun together!

The kids had a great time at Trinity's Day Camp.  They went every day Monday-Thursday and played games, did art projects, and played out at CAVOC every day.  They were thrilled the Kohnhorsts joined them!  Fun!

Olivia and Simon are playing soccer this summer.  Olivia is on the Royals and Simon is on the Wildcats.  They worked hard to develop their skills and had fun playing with their friends!

One beautiful Friday evening we went out to Hanson Lake for a swim.  The weather and the setting could not have been more beautiful!

Campfire pit broke, so we made s'mores on the stove!

One of our friends hosted a chalkfest day, and we came and made a few designs on the sidewalk.

Our 4H club volunteered to help out at the Humane Society. It wasn't glamorous, but we got a lot done!  We washed so. many. dishes, swept and mopped floors, and visited the cats.  When we were all done we got to meet some of the sweet puppies who were ready to be adopted!

My parents took the kids for a few days, so Eric and I had some time to do some things together.  We played tourist and headed up to Three Lakes winery for some wine tasting.  We went shopping in downtown Eagle River, and finished up with a delicious dinner at Northfork in Minocqua.  We had such a nice day together.  The next morning, we launched the kayaks and headed out on an adventure down the Wisconsin River to visit Eric's parents' new house.

My friends and I started taking adult tap lessons at Northwoods School of Dance.  We may not know what we're doing, but we are having a blast.  An extra bonus has been a pre-game drink at the neighboring bowling alley to get loosened up before the class.  It has been fun to try something new!
