"Mick-Mouw"
Bookworm
Easter
We kicked off the Easter celebration with a Easter Egg hunt at Aunt Debbie and Uncle Rick's house on Saturday. Nolan did a great job finding all his yellow eggs, and even had a Mickey Mouse inside. He had a blast! And yes, there was still snow on the ground...
Our pretty Easter table!
Later that evening our whole family went to Hodag Park playground and the little man had a blast on the slides!
On Easter Sunday morning, we got ready for Church and Nolan got a fun Easter basket. He got some bubbles, clothes, a kite, and a Llama Llama book, among other goodies. After church, Eric and I hosted Easter brunch for Eric's parents and brother.

Miles was a good sport with the bunny ears!

A visit to Eau Claire
While Mom and Dad went to California to spend some time with Lucas and Annalyse, Nolan, Miles, and I went to Eau Claire to housesit and take care of the horses. Nolan was really anxious the ring the doorbell, but when he realized that Grandma and Grandpa weren't there, he got a bit pouty.
We went on a few walks, visited with the horses, and stayed busy with our daily routine. Everything went smoothly...that is, until bath time. I literally turned my back on him for a second - just long enough to get the bath toys. When I turned back around, little stinker was in the tub, fully clothed and lapping up the water.
The day we went to Durand to visit Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Danzinger. We went to Lone Pine Bar for a fish fry lunch and had fun visiting and playing together!

A boy and his dog
Nolan and Miles have become fast friends. Though Nolan is not always the most gentle, Miles is very tolerant of Nolan's style of showing "love."
I've caught Nolan actually dragging Miles by his tail across the room. Miles doesn't seem concerned.

There is not much sweeter than watching the precious moments between a boy and his dog.
