Picking Pumpkins

Ever since Nolan was a toddler, Grandma and Grandpa have grown pumpkins in their gardens for the kids to pick at Halloween.  Today was harvesting day, so we went to pick our pumpkins.  Each kid found a perfect one for carving, and we got to harvest sunflower heads as well.  It is very cathartic to pick out the seeds as they dry.  The greenhouse and garden have provided a great education for the kids and I'm so glad they'll have so many memories doing that with their grandparents.
