Staying out at the cabin for the weekend has become one of our family's favorite things to do. It is the super cozy, beautiful change of scenery we have needed as an escape during some of the monotony of the pandemic. The creek is so beautiful and the kids love walking to it and wading in it. We spent time on nature walks, and drove around on the 4 wheelers. We also try to do some special meals to really make it feel like a vacation. A year ago, this would have been hard for us, but I am proud at how much the kids have grown in their ability to stay away from home and try new things. It was a fun and relaxing weekend!
