Unfortuately, Grandma's first knee surgery was not a success and left her vulnerable to future joint issues, pain, and arthritis. She needed a complete re-do of her surgery, so we headed to Eau Claire to help her out. We got an Olive Garden lunch on our way into town. We found some time to play outside in the fresh snow with Grandpa while we were there, but they kept us hopping since Grandpa needed nasal surgery that same week too! Fortunately both surgeries went well and they were on their way to recovery before we left for home. Hopefully this will be the end of the setbacks for a while!
