Last year we learned about Santa Lucia Day as part of our study of Holidays around the World. This year, Tati and Elsa joined in the fun. Their family grew up celebrating Santa Lucia Day, as they are Swedish. We made some treats and packaged them up in tins for the different people we wanted to visit. When we arrived, we played the Santa Lucia song as they processed in with their treats. We visited the Grandma, Grandpa, and Daddy at work, Marilyn Bradley, Keith McCafferty, and Bob Kitzman, from church, and Grandma Ruby and Sharon Hohman at Rennes. It was really fun to brighten everyone's day! The kids did such a good job and had such a blast doing it together!
