Tom was sick with Covid over Christmas, so we did our gathering at their house on New Year's Day, after he was feeling better. We opened presents and enjoyed appetizers and played Christmas Bingo. Later that evening, Uncle Tom started a fire and we headed out onto the ice for the fireworks display put on by the Lights of the Northwoods organization. This was a special treat they provided last year due to the pandemic and the response was so great that they decided to do it again. It was a nice way to kick off the start to 2022. May this year be filled with love, hope, and plenty of fun as we enter another year in this crazy covid pandemic.
