This spring I decided to turn our back garden into a mud kitchen for the kids. Eric was a good sport and dug up the area with the rototiller. We got tons of dishes and supplies from Grandpa Frank's house and I found a water dispenser from Good Will. Simon got an excavator for his birthday, which went out there too. The rest was all fueled by their imaginations! They quickly dug in and had a wonderful time making cookies, cakes, soup, and digging for clay. I'm looking forward to this being a summer play staple at our house!
