Pals, Parks, Picnics, and Peeing

The other day the Lindner kids came over to play while their Mommy, Katie was doing a photo shoot.  It's always nice to spend time with them.  Isaac and Nolan have a great time together and the girls absolutely dote on Olivia.  They can't get enough of her!  (Can't wait until they're old enough to babysit!!)

Isaac (4), Cassidy (7), Lucy (9), Olivia (11 months), Nolan (3)
We headed down to Hodag Park for a little bit in the morning.  The kids all took turns on the swings, and Cassidy and Lucy got a kick out of pushing Livi.

All of the kids were complaining that the morning was going too fast and they wanted to play longer, so I had Katie pick up some sandwiches on her way back and we had a picnic under the tree across the street.  It was a gorgeous day, sunny with a nice breeze, and it was nice to take a rest for a moment and eat our lunch.  Before we knew it, Isaac got up and walked over to our shade tree and started peeing.  Within about 3 seconds, Nolan joined in, with his pants around his ankles.  We were all in hysterics.  Isaac finished the job and came back, but Nolan being the ridiculous clown that he is, started laughing uncontrollably and took off running...with his pants around his ankles.

I chased after him, but couldn't go very fast because every few seconds I doubled over in laughter at the absurdity of chasing my son around the park with his pants down.  Every day with my Nolan is an adventure.

We finished up our picnic lunch with some ice cream drumsticks.  It was a memorable picnic.  Life is good.
