Luke and Annalyse visit

Our family has some big news!  Luke and Annalyse are moving back to Minnesota after living away in California for the past five years.  They moved away about a month after Eric and I got married, and we've only seen them a few times a year since then.  Lucas loves his job in GIS software development with Esri and is hoping to be able to transfer and remote in to his current job.  Annalyse recently completed PA school and was offered a great position in orthopedics in the Allina Health System in St. Paul.  We are very excited to have them back closer to us.

This past weekend, they were home for a wedding, so we headed over to Eau Claire to see them for hopefully our last "super condensed" visit.

Yes, I know we're missing Livi, but it was way past her bedtime!

Nolan loves having campfires.  He's good at helping break the sticks for kindling.  Here he is getting a tutorial from Aunt Annalyse about how to roast the perfect marshmallow.

Nolan "helped" Grandma make pancakes in the morning.
Our time went fast and we look forward to more frequent visits and reconnecting with them!  Hooray!
