We had our first summer campfire the other night. It was an absolutely beautiful, cooler summer evening which made it perfect for roasting hotdogs and s'mores for supper. Simon was really good about keeping his distance from the fire, and got to partake in his first s'more! He didn't like the sticky marshmallow and decided to just open it up and lick the chocolate out. He is a boy after my own heart. The kids played well together and it was certainly more relaxing for the grownups than last summer...can't wait to do it some more!
