A few years ago, Nolan and I had a picnic under our Christmas tree as one of our Advent Countdown to Christmas activities. He remembered it (unsurprisingly) and requested that it become a tradition that we do every year. With the craziness of the season, we didn't get to it until the first week of January, but both the kids enjoyed it nonetheless.
