Olivia decided she wanted to have a tea party this afternoon. She set the table and decorated herself and Daddy made his special scones for the occasion. Here is the recipe:
Dad's Chocolate Chip Scones:
2 cups flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon baking powder
a pinch of salt
Mix together.
1 stick of butter, chopped into little bits and mixed in
Add chocolate chips
Make a well and pour in 1 cup cream
Barely mix the dough. Put it on a floured surface and form it into a rectangle.
Cut it into eight pieces.
Put on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-24 minutes.
