The other day, for the first time in over ten years, Eric got out his saxophone. I've been pestering him for years to bring it out, and even bought him some reeds this summer so he'd be ready to go, but it was Nolan's sweet pleading that finally made it happen. The kids have always been interested in music and love to "play" their harmonica and recorder while Mommy plays piano to some of their favorite songs. This time Daddy joined us for some Christmas carols! I'm so glad that Eric and I can share our love of music with our kids, and sincerely hope that the gift of music will carry through into their adult years.
