Our family celebrated St. Nicholas Day last week, and it was fun because I think it was the first year that Nolan actually understood what was happening. He set his shoes out the night before, picking out his biggest pair of shoes so St. Nick would have plenty of room to fill them with goodies. He was very excited to wake up the next morning to some special holiday treats. He had some cool HotWheels machines, a new DVD, some Christmas socks and some candy. Olivia had a new spoon and fork, a little candy, some Minnie socks, a Curious George DVD. It was another fun German tradition that added a bit of extra fun to the holiday season!
